Sm street is the traditional commercial market in calicut.It is one of the crowded place in the city.A brand new Mall named GRAND MALL is proposed to be built near this street.and thereby sm street will transform into GRAND Hi-street.They says that it will be an international styled shopping mall with 75000 sq.ft shopping area.It is a joint venture of AP Projects and Kalliyath Leaders in trading and real estate in India and Gulf with a bunch of activities to their credit...steel trading, steel manufacture, real estate, construction, cosmetics, super markets, hospitality, IT etc.
